Regional Plant Appraisal Committee
The Regional Plant Appraisal Committee (RPAC) was created in response to the publication of the Guide for Plant Appraisal, 10th Edition. The committee consists of industry professionals who collect and organize information on: species availability; nursery stock; costs; and species descriptions. In response to the 10th Edition and at the request of ISAO, RPAC has created the Ontario Supplement to the Guide for Plant Appraisal.

Ontario Supplement to the Guide for Plant Appraisal
The Supplement is not intended to be used as an instruction document. It was developed and intended to be used only by professionals who are trained, mentored, and experienced in undertaking tree & plant appraisals. The information provided is intended to assist those appraisers in determining the most reasonable conclusion for their given assignment. We hope the Supplement will also help ensure consistency among appraisals. Remember to research a variety of factors, including those specific to your assignment, to arrive at an accurate, reasonable and defendable result. This Supplement should be used as one resource among others when determining a subject’s value.
Fill out the form below to receive a copy of the Supplement (dated Dec 2021) by email (once you submit the form you’ll receive an email within 1 minute).
