Description

At DeVos Tree Care we provide tree services to residential and commercial clients throughout the Greater Hamilton area. We see it as an incredible privilege and honour to be called upon to maintain, and sometimes remove, trees that in many cases are much older than we are. That is why care lies in the foundation of what we do; caring for our clients as well as trees.

 

Qualifications

Duties:

• Climbing and rigging on trees small to large;
• Communicate with clients in a highly professional manner; pre and post tree operation;
• Communicate effectively with team members to create a safe working environment;
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection on all tools from harnesses to chainsaws to wood chippers;
• Understanding of basic tree biology;
• Fluency in tree identification as well as common tree pests.

Education/Assets/Other

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in arboriculture;
• ISA Certification (recommended);
• D Class license (recommended);
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

Pay/Benefits

Salary range: $26-$31/hour
