District Manager

DISTRICT MANAGER

Position Overview 

As a District Manager you will report directly to the Area Manager and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Davey Tree company as you oversee a territory and lead a team in the delivery of exceptional arboriculture services for our clients.

Job Duties

·       Responsible for managing all operations in the district within the residential team.

·       Oversee, direct and support several crews as well as office staff

·       Be involved in all aspects of leadership including: Recruitment, Employee Development, Training, Safety, Mentorship

·       Assist in the development of regional strategies to create and establish new business development opportunities

·       Play an integral part in the sales of the district

·       Equipment and asset management

Qualifications

·       High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience

·       2 or 4-year post-secondary degree

·       ISA Certified Arborist is considered an asset

·       Landscape Exterminator PHC License is an asset

·       Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement is an asset

·       Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
