Tree Worker/ Arborist

Description

Beswick Tree Service has been servicing residential & commercial as well as municipality’s in the Hamilton and surrounding areas for over 60 years. We are dedicated to our community with our primary focus being tree care and removal.

Responsibilities and Duties
Your Job Duties:
* Perform all duties in accordance with Arborist Safe Work Practices;
* Perform required tree work from ground level, climbing or by safe forestry bucket operations;
* Remove brush, diseased trees and branches;
* Pruning, stumping and required clean up;
* Knowledge in production tree removal, tree pruning and rigging.



Qualifications
* Minimum 1-3 years’ experience of in all types of arboricultural work including; tree climbing, bucket operations, pruning, removal, cabling, bracing, and stumping;
* Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train;
* ISA Certification and college training are all assets;
* Experienced and knowledgeable of approved safety procedures when working at heights and near energized conductors;
* Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner;
* Working at Heights;
* Valid G Driver’s License and safe driving record;
* DZ License an asset.Your Work Conditions:
* Outdoor field environment;
* Urban and rural environments;
* Daily travel from site to site;
* Walking/hiking on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills and slopes;
* Exposure to noise, dust, grease and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
