The Ontario Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA Ontario) hosts its annual tree climbing championship on Friday September 15 and Saturday September 16, 2023 at LaSalle Park, 50 North Shore Blvd E, Burlington, Ontario L7T 4A4. At this fun, competitive, spectator event, professional tree climbers from across Ontario will compete for the title of top climber in the province.
Competitors will perform five different preliminary events simulating the skills required to work safely and efficiently in the trees. The climbers who score the highest during these preliminary contests will compete in the Masters’ Challenge where the winners (top male and female) will be crowned the Ontario Champions.
This FREE event is open to the public and runs Friday and Saturday. Watch arborists showcase their skills, visit an outdoor industry tradeshow and even take a turn on the ropes in the “Climb For All Ages” under the guidance of a professional arborist. See details on the event here.
