PART-TIME CONSULTING ARBORIST

This position offers a wide range of freedoms, including length and shape of the work day/week (flex-time); flexibility to work from home; flexibility in the area of specialization (the latter is possible through co-operation and agreement with the other staff). There is lots of room for the right individual to grow in this position and within the division.

The position involves as much in the way of strong people skills, communication (verbal and written), time management and organization as it does ‘tree skills’.

The hours required to fulfill this position are variable and project-based, ranging from 10-25 hours per week.

While there is a regular outdoor component to the job, in the form of site visits, tree assessments and inventories, the majority of work is in the office and computer-based.
