The Curriculum Advisor will be involved in the development of an industry-based certificate training program that provides entry-level grounds crew training to new inexperienced individuals pursuing arboriculture. The Curriculum Advisor will work part of a small team to assist the Curriculum Developer/Technical Writer to develop and design all content and curriculum including the preparation of a teaching manual and student handbook. The position(s) will work with an Advisory Committee who will provide feedback and input in to curriculum needs. The position(s) will assist with curriculum planning and development by offering guidance, direction, resources and information to the Curriculum Developer/Technical Writer throughout the duration of curriculum development. It is expected that the team of Curriculum Advisors will act as a resource and provide support to the Lead Instructor and Program Technicians during curriculum implementation. Curriculum Advisors will facilitate curriculum meetings with Advisory Committee.
