Open House

Tuesday, June 27
6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Queen Elizabeth Park Community
and Cultural Centre, 2309 Bridge Road Multipurpose Room 1 & 2

The town is introducing a new class of licensing for arborists. Join us at our upcoming open house to learn more.

Why do arborists need a license from the town?

The annual licensing of certified arborists and arborist firms will increase accountability of tree removal in the Town of Oakville. Licensing of arborists will be similar to the licensing of existing private industries such as landscapers, pool contractors, HVAC installers, and fence installers. Annual licensing of certified arborists and arborist firms will help consumers identify qualified, knowledgeable tree care professionals and help protect and enhance the town’s urban forest.
