Ottawa Tree Surgeons & Consultants Inc. is growing once again!

Our organization, based in Ottawa, Ontario is interested in employing another Certified Arborist to join our team of professionals.  We are a family owned business operating since 2001 with some employees that have been with OTS for over 17 years.  The type of employee that we are interested in is a physically and mentally strong team player with an eagerness to learn and work well in Crews of three and four.  Their work ethic must parallel our present crew members with safe work practices and posses the drive to provide our clients with the best service we insist on.

Qualifications:

Job description:

Secondary climber assisting foreman, or primary climber in large tree prunings and surgery including cable/brace installation.  Ability to take down medium sized trees in an URBAN setting, without damaging clientele property.  This is not a logging or falling job!  This is precise, calculated and accurate Urban Tree Maintenance at its best.

The potential candidate for the position needs to fit the following criteria:  Must be a ISA Certified Arborist for minimum two years and proven climbing experience as a primary or secondary (junior) climber.  The individual must possess a valid First Aid ticket, Chainsaw Safety and Operation course and valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract. (D licence an asset).

Starting Wage $20.00 - $25.00/hr
(based on competency test results)
